BREXIT Lawyer
My client is a top tier bank looking for a lawyer with over three years PQE on an initial 6 month Contract. The role sits in their Legal and Compliance division to provide support in EMEA to their Brexit Project which will involve dealing also with client migration.
The main responsibilities will involve the designing of templates for the re-papering of clients as well as the novation of positions post Brexit. You will also be giving legal support to business units, sales as well as the documentation team during outreach and repapering. In addition you will be assisting in the repapering of clients as well as acting as an escalation point and supporting client onboarding.
The successful candidate would preferably be an English/New York or German qualified lawyer.
Experience of the DRV would also be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have extensive PQE at another leading international firm or would be part of the in-house team at a leading financial institution. The ability to prioritise and communicate effectively will be key, as will experience in listed derivatives, OTC derivatives (both cleared and uncleared) and repurchasing/securities lending agreements.
