In-House Role – Funds Lawyer – Global Financial Institution – 4/5PQE
My client is a global financial institution looking to hire a funds lawyer on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver expert and timely legal advice in relation to law and regulation governing investment funds to enable the business to deliver on their objectives and to ensure good outcomes for the businesses customers
Act as a trusted adviser on the development, maintenance, change and closure of regulated and unregulated funds globally, responding to commercial, legal and regulatory needs
Partner with the business in connection with commercial/contractual matters relating to the funds business, including negotiation of custody, management, distribution, administration related activities
Work collaboratively with members of the Investment Products and Services team to deliver best-in-class support on risk management activities in Legal and in the business including developing and complying with policies and procedures and the legal and regulatory framework
A strong candidate should have at least 4 years post qualification from a reputable city law firm or financial institution. The business is happy to look at candidates with a variety of funds experience, be it private funds or retail funds.
