Litigation Paralegal
My client is a Global Corporate business based in the City looking to hire a Litigation paralegal on a permanent basis.
The role will involve assisting the Head of Litigation on the below –
- Co-ordinating the monitoring and reporting of litigation and employment claims, internally and to Insurers, for the business in the UK and across EMEA;
- Liaising with the UK and EMEA Finance teams to ensure appropriate internal financial management of claims;
- The defence and commencement of straightforward litigation claims, and the early stages of more complex litigation, before the instruction of external lawyers;
- Liaising with appointed external lawyers to ensure receipt of regular reporting to inform the businesses own reporting obligations; and
- Reporting regularly to the General Counsel on significant litigation claims and financial expenditure for the UK and EMEA.
A strong candidate should have a good academic history, and at least 6-12 months paralegal post degree experience and the ability to demonstrate actual litigation experience in CV (court litigation only).
