Reception Manager – Front of House Manager
My client is a well-known Real Estate Company, based in London, who manage a portfolio of commercial buildings throughout the UK. They are looking for a Front of House Manager / Reception Manager to take on the development, management of the employees in these buildings and to improve the level of service provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing all on site employees;
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained for their roles, understand what is required of them and that they are delivering;
- Motivate and inspire the team to provide the best onsite service possible;
- Ensure the presentation of each site is correct and being maintained by the onsite employees.
Working with the Head of HR to deal with all HR related matters, including but limited to:
- Managing employees and performance;
- Recruitment, including developing job descriptions, interviewing and selecting candidates;
- Managing absence;
- Advising on pay, including benefits and undertaking annual salary reviews;
- Maintaining employee records;
- General knowledge of employment law;
- Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
- Analysing, planning and delivering training if applicable, including inductions for new employees;
- Organise and enhance service delivery and hospitality;
- Ensure all sites comply with all H&S legislation.
The ideal candidate will have/will be:
- Previous experience working in hospitality is desirable;
- Have an understanding of what constitutes good hospitality and have the vision to implement it;
- Presentable and engaging;
- Excellent and proven leadership skills.
