Structured Finance Lawyer / Execution Lawyer
My client is a global financial institution looking to hire a Structured Finance Lawyer for an initial 6-12 month contract opportunity.
The role will mainly include:
- Main responsibilities centre on working with the securitisation / syndication teams to facilitate public market exits for transactions, including:
- Preparing and reviewing term sheets
- Advising on structure of transactions to optimise public market exits taking into account legal, regulatory, tax and other constraint
- Liaising with outside counsel to prepare transaction documentation
- Liaising with rating agencies in respect of potential transactions
- Assisting in the execution of structured finance lending transactions including structuring, preparation of terms sheets and drafting and negotiation of facility documents.
An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post qualification experience from a major city law firm and investment bank. The candidate must also have familiarity with CMBS/repack documentation and structured finance transactions.
