New In-House role – Corporate Advisory – 5-10PQE – Global Financial Institution
My client is a leading, global financial institution looking to hire a Senior corporate lawyer on a permanent basis.
The role sits in a team that supports a wide variety of group functions (Finance, Risk, Compliance) etc), and will provide you with high quality work from the outset, working across work streams and key stakeholders and a lot of day to day variety in very self-autonomous role.
Key responsibilities include:
- M&A Support
- Regulatory Advise
- Corporate Advisor to PLC
- Financial reporting programme, advising on annual and Q reports
- Strategy based work, key messaging and monitoring of level of disclosure
- Policing disclosure and content
- Group renewals of insurance, indemnification issues
- Corporate governance
- Advise on specific committee requirements
Background analysis of MAR - Some transactional work, RNS, disclosure, corporate reorganisation
A strong candidate should have at least five years post qualification experience from a reputable city law firm or top tier financial organisation. Some in-house experience is also essential.
