I would be keen to touch-base with you on a financial controller opportunity I am working on with a leading global retail bank.
The bank, who are currently going through significant growth in the UK, are looking for an accountant ideally from an audit background to join their Legal Entity reporting team. This role will be working on a specific UK entity which has several foreign branches and a French subsidiary to support the asset-backed lending business which has a balance-sheet of 1 billion dollars – which the bank is looking to double by the end of the year.
This individual will take the lead on running those audits and working closely with the auditors, having a particular focus on IFRS 9, 15 &16. As far as financial control opportunities go, this is rather unique with its defined set of entities from which you will get to see the end-to-end process with a great deal of exposure to the rest of the business.
